Frequently Asked Questions

Do you add chemicals to the pool?

Every opening includes Chlorine shock. Opening chemical kits will be provided upon request.

Do you clean the pool and balance the water?

Our pool opening prices do not include cleaning or water balancing, but you can book an opening cleaning service separately. The cost is $175.00 for the first hour and $75.00 for every additional hour. Depending on the condition of the pool an opening cleaning will typically take 1-3 hours and could need a couple visits.

Why should I clean my filter cartridges and salt cell?

You can greatly increase the efficiency and life time of most of your equipment. Dirt and bacteria buildup on your filters and mineral buildup in your salt cell can make it more difficult for your pump to circulate water through your system and could cause issues with heaters because of the lack of flow.

When can we go swimming?!?

It really depends on the quality of 3 things: Filtration, Circulation, and Sanitation. If your pool is running well, your equipment is efficient, and your water is balanced appropriately, it should take no more than a few days. Keep in mind, it could take longer if the pool was not cleaned properly when it was closed or if the cover fell in over the winter.
